To me there is little that is as enjoyable as creating a piece of artwork that evokes an emotion from a viewer. After all, shouldn't art engage a viewer enough to encourage a feeling whether the feeling is a good one or a bad one?
In my opinion, a piece of art is only successful when the viewer feels an emotion of any kind. |
I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My love for creating started with those paint by number kits we all remember. I always upset my family members because I refused to paint in the lines.
I consider myself a self-taught artist. Courses taken in schools or private lessons can teach a person color theory, composition and some of the more technical points that arise while creating a piece of art but there is much that lessons lack.
I firmly believe no amount of lessons can teach a person how to put their heart into a piece of art of any kind.
As always, Peace and Love to you and yours.
